Our recommendations for professional development offerings for the 2020-21 school year were developed by the PDII Division staff in light of qualitative and quantitative data. Our primary data sources were two World Cafe sessions and a survey, administered between July 31 and August 4.
We have concluded that members need and want opportunities to connect with others: to learn and to share. The primary concern of members, by a clear margin, is professional development around Health and Safety topics. A secondary need, as determined by our data, is around blended learning and remote instruction tools. Additionally, to respond to emergent members needs, we have also designed Virtual Roundtable experiences that will allow members to bring just-in-time issues and concerns to a group of colleagues.
